Aid Station
We will have a variety of sweet and salty snacks typical of trail races: potato chips, fruit, cookies, candy, electrolyte drink, and water.
We aim to minimize waste, so we ask that you bring your own cup and food vessel (bag, other cup, etc.).
If you have food or drink that you prefer, please bring them!
Aid Station | Mile | Race |
Cliff Aid | ~3.5/4 | 10K/ Half Marathon |
Start/Finish | ~7 | Half Marathon |

Swag
Finishers will receive an Over the Rainbow Runs trucker cap, pint glass, or neck gaiter.
We have divisions for women, men, and non-binary/genderqueer folks. Winners will receive prizes donated by our sponsors. Over the Rainbow Runs will honor the division selected by each runner.
We will also honor the person who is out on course the longest (the “DFL” award). This prize usually includes a toy dinosaur. 🦖
You may change from the Half Marathon to the 10K prior the race and still vie for a 10K award. Runners are also welcome to drop from the Half Marathon to the 10K during the race; you will be considered a 10K finisher, but not eligible for division awards.
Some nitty gritty
Since the course traverses city streets and ATV roads and is on public land that is open to to all visitors, we request that you do not wear headphones during our event.
We abide by Leave No Trace principles. Please leave no litter on trail (especially those pesky gel tops) and dispose of human waste appropriately. There are no restrooms on trail except for the start/finish, which is also the halfway point for the half marathon.
